Abstract

Objective of the study is to establish a methodology for integrating physical and technical training for swimmers aged 11-14. Methods and structure of the study. The study utilised an analysis of the literature, examined various approaches to the development of physical qualities and technical readiness, and summarised the results of the authors' own long-term observations conducted on a sample of 124 swimmers aged 11–14. The study involved the use of computer video analysis, testing, instrumental diagnostics (Swim Force Test, VASA Swim Ergometer), design, modelling, and methods of mathematical statistics. Data processing was carried out using correlation, regression and ROC analysis. Results and conclusions. The following components of the technology for integrating physical and technical training for swimmers are proposed: conceptual, content-based and procedural, based on the principles of level-based progression, integrative systematicity, complementarity and synergy. The application of specialised methods (combination, level-based design, technique stabilisation, complementary training methods, stress exposure) and selected exercises, including those on training equipment, enables the coordinated development of physical qualities and swimming technique, creating conditions for the effective transfer of training effects into competitive performance.
