It was attended by 174 students (159 men and 15 women) of 1st-3rd year full-time students aged 18 to 21 years. The experiment consisted of 3 stages. The study used the Strava mobile running application, which tracks running and/or walking parameters. The training program included: running and (or) walking at a predetermined pace in accordance with the medical health group and gender of distance learning participants. At the end of the study, a survey of distance learning participants was conducted.
Results and conclusions. The use of digital technologies in practical classes in physical education at a university significantly expands the methodological capabilities of the discipline, allows for an individual approach to teaching, and also improves students’ independent work.
