Objective of the study was to develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of introduction into the physical training process of innovative technologies that would allow increasing the level of physical development and optimize the psychological state of Special Forces officers in a compressed time frame.
Methods and structure of the study. The experiment was run during the temporary duty leaves of the Federal National Guard Troops Service of the Russian Federation in the 3-month period of "team training" in the climatogeographic conditions of the middle altitude. The Mann-Whitney criterion was used during the statistical processing of the data obtained. The Brody formula was used to determine the increment rates.
Results and conclusions. The improvement of the level of development of speed-strength qualities and speed-strength endurance, as well as the optimization of the psychological state of the subjects, were carried out through the combined application of the boxing and crossfit tools and elements of music therapy. The basic complex exercises, free-weight movements, and aerobic exercises were used. In addition, high-intensity exercises were introduced, including plyometric exercises borrowed from other sports. The training methods applied were as follows: repetitive, variable, and repetitive-tempo. Circular training was the main training method.
Therefore, the innovative technology of combined application of the boxing and crossfit tools enables to effectively develop the speed-strength qualities and speed-strength endurance of Special Forces officers, which increases their readiness to perform service and fighting tasks in the middle altitude conditions.
