Activation of practice-oriented activity in Olympic reserve colleges

Abstract

Objective of the study is to analyse and characterise the implementation of practice-oriented activity in an Olympic reserve college. Results and conclusions. The features of conducting the quiz “Intergenerational Vibe”, its structural content, including blocks of diverse tasks, were examined, which presupposed: students’ work with the semantic content of concepts presented in different formats (encyclopaedic and modern, proposed with the help of a neural network); intellectual competitions; demonstration by students of creative initiatives; analytical activity of students related to summarising the results of the game. On the basis of a written survey (questionnaire), the opinion of students about the format of the event, the success of its conduct, and the importance of analogous pedagogical initiatives for students was revealed. The majority of respondents noted that the interestingly organised environment of the college stimulates the desire to continue learning, to achieve high personal results, and to develop in the profession. The obtained results made it possible to establish that additional extracurricular events of a sociocultural orientation, reflecting youth interests, positively influence the effectiveness of implementing the educational and upbringing processes.
