Abstract
Objective of the study is to determine the differences in psychophysiological and technical indicators between badminton players with musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) and intellectual disabilities (ID) taking into account visual field indicators and, on their basis, to substantiate the application of differentiated approaches in the methodology of motor learning of athletes. Methods and structure of the study. 10 athletes took part in the scientific work: candidates for master of sport and masters of sport aged 21–24, members of the Russian national para-badminton team: 5 people with MSD and 5 with ID. Diagnostics of the simple visual-motor reaction was carried out on a device with the computer programme XLIGHT One 6, and the assessment of the physical aspect of strokes – using the Intelligent Badminton Sensor 3.0 touch sensor, fixed on the racket. Accuracy in ballistic movements was assessed by the control exercise “Accuracy”. Results and conclusions. Strong correlation relationships between the visual field and technical indicators were revealed. Differentiated approaches of motor learning for athletes with intellectual impairment and with musculoskeletal disorders were substantiated.
