Abstract
Objective of the study is to substantiate the significance of expanding the basic testing programme as a pedagogical condition for the rational construction of a differentiated training process of young cyclists. Methods and structure of the study. An analysis of scientific-methodological literature and information sources, interviewing, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, an ascertaining pedagogical experiment, methods of descriptive statistics, correlation, cluster, and factor analysis were conducted. The study was conducted on a contingent of young cyclists (n=31) of the initial training group of the State Budgetary Institution of Supplementary Education "Moscow Academy of Cycling" from September 2023 to May 2025. Results and conclusions. The identified organisation of the cluster and factor structure, uniting physical qualities, coordination and psychomotor abilities, reflects the specificity of constructing training loads in the training process. This makes it possible to adapt the sports training programme, making it more or less complex, depending on the level of preparedness of the young athlete. The established 87 significant correlation relationships demonstrate a wide spectrum of interrelationships of the indicated abilities with the coordination structure of sporting activity in the BMX discipline.
