Abstract

Objective of the study is to substantiate and develop test exercises for monitoring and adjusting the fitness of female university students in applied sports fitness boxing classes. Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work was carried out on the educational premises of the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. More than 700 first- and second-year female students and 35 specialists, coaches and teachers of physical culture and sports took part in the experiment. At the preliminary stage, testing of the participants' fitness was carried out, as well as a survey of coaches and teachers on the question of which test exercises are the most effective for monitoring and adjusting the fitness of female students in applied sports fitness boxing classes. In this way, all the above contributed to the accumulation of factual material for the formation of blocks of test exercises to monitor the fitness of female university students in applied sports fitness boxing classes. Results and conclusions. Based on the results of this study, the following sets of test exercises were developed and compiled to assess the physical readiness of female university students for applied fitness boxing classes: 1. General physical fitness (GPF) assessment exercises: 1000-meter and 60-meter runs; standing long jump; sit-ups in one minute; forward bend from a seated position on the floor; push-ups from a plank position on the floor. 2. Test exercises for specific physical fitness (SPF): jumping rope with both feet for one minute (number of jumps); straight punches in a boxing stance against a punching bag for one minute (number of times); alternating lunges from a standing boxing stance for one minute (number of lunges). 3. Technical training (TT): simulation of simple boxing techniques (shadow boxing); various striking techniques using a punching bag. The developed assessment exercises allow for effective management of university students' training in applied fitness boxing classes.
