Objective of the study was to study the effect of the vitamin complex on the functional and biochemical parameters of kettlebell lifters.
Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work was carried out at the Department of Biochemistry and Bioenergetics of Sports named after N.I. Volkov. Kettlebell lifters and amateur athletes participated in the experiment. The following methods were used: questioning, assessment of the functional state and physical fitness of kettlebell lifters, assessment of vitamin sufficiency, biochemical methods and methods of mathematical statistics.
Results and conclusions. It was shown that kettlebell lifters had a large individual variation in the content of water- and fat-soluble vitamins in blood plasma. Many athletes were deficient in ascorbic acid, thiamine, retinol and tocopherol, which are interconnected in a synergistic direction. The use of an additional vitamin complex during a special preparatory stage significantly increased the concentration of all vitamins in plasma, except for contributing to an increase in working capacity and a decrease in tissue acidosis.

Keywords: kettlebell lifters, vitamins, ascorbic acid, thiamine, retinol, tocopherol, nutrients, functional state.
