Women’s wellness physical education service: encouraging interest in psychophysical progress monitoring

Abstract
Objective of the study was to survey interest of mature and senior women in psychophysical progress monitoring to facilitate the wellness physical education service.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for the questionnaire survey the mature and senior women from wellness physical education groups (n=122) practicing wellness Nordic walking and oriental gymnastics sponsored by the rural/ municipal wellness physical education programs on the Russian North. The sample was grouped into Experimental Group (n=61) practicing Nordic walking and Control Group (n=61) that opted for oriental wellness gymnastics.
Results and conclusion. The study found significant progress of the Experimental Group in the yearly wellness physical education practices as verified by progress in the special knowledge, relevant information technologies and informed interest in the psychophysical progress monitoring, with this interest found to provide a special impetus for the trainings and progress motivations.
