Abstract
Objective of the study was to test and analyze benefits of a new integrated training model for the 9-11-year-old school students to get fit for the All-Russian School Physical Education Olympiad.
Methods and structure of the study. The new integrated training model testing experiment was run at Raduzhnenskaya Secondary School in the period of 01.09.2020 to 01.02.2021 on a sample of the 9-11-year-old school students (n=16, 10 boys and 6 girls) split up into Control Group (trained traditionally) and Experimental Group (n=8) trained as required by the new integrated training model to get fit for the upcoming All-Russian School Physical Education Olympiad.
Results and conclusion. The integrated training model was tested beneficial as it offers comprehensive theoretical and practical training modules to secure persistent progress in every exercise listed in the School Physical Education Olympiad program by the prudently designed class/ off-class trainings. We recommend the integrated training model for application by the school Physical Education instructors on an extracurricular basis and/ or as complementary to the regular school Physical Education classes.
