Abstract
Objective of the study was to find the key factors of influence on the academic volleyball training service efficiency.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled academic athletes (n=53, 31 men and 22 women) for the B. J. Kretti's questionnaire survey to find the key factors of influence on the training service efficiency.
Results and conclusion. The sample mentioned provisions for active training as the top priority factor for the training service efficiency. The men’s group underlined the need for video records and analyses with the coach’s technical instructions for progress; whilst the women’s group ranked high the team climate in trainings and competitions with support and acknowledgements from teammates among the key success factors, plus musical accompaniment in the warm-up phase. Special attention in the training service design and management process will be given not only to the physical, technical and tactical fitness elements and training timeframes, but also the reported training progress needs of the groups. Such feedbacks will help the coach manage the training service on a timely and efficient basis with a special focus on the progress facilitating factors reported by the trainees.
