Abstract
Objective of the study was to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test benefits of a new tactical and technical training model making an emphasis on complex coordination and elementary situational trainings in youth team sports and martial arts to facilitate progress in the competitive elementary situations control in high-coordination-intensive moments.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for the tactical and technical training model testing experiment the 12-14-year-old actively trained basketball and ice hockey players and kickboxers (n=180) whose training systems were designed and managed in compliance with the relevant valid Federal Sports Training Standards.
Results and conclusion. The systemic elementary-situations-focused controlled-difficulty trainings were found beneficial as verified by progress of the sample in the specific right-hand (9.2 ± 0.2, p < 0.05), left-hand (8.8 ± 0.3, p < 0.05), right-foot (8.5 ± 0.1, p<0.05) and left-foot (9.1 ± 0.2, p< 0.05) motor skills; plus a special progress in the technical execution quality (9.6 ± 0.1, p < 0.05) and the post-MS positioning skills (0.3± 0.07, p< 0.05). The elementary situations modeling, control and excellence trainings were found to significantly improve the tactical and technical performance, with special benefits for the ability to efficiently sort out competitive situations and find the best responses for competitive success.
