The obtained evidence of the rehabilitation and functional-developmental impact of Nordic walking allows us to recommend it as an effective tool for inclusion in various health and recreation programs for middle-aged and elderly people. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the necessity and correctness of training students in the technique of this method. Failure to comply with this requirement may cause negative stress phenomena in the vertebral column and have the opposite health effect. At the same time, the inclusion of Nordic walking in the register of official sports (on behalf of Dmitry Medvedev) opens up significant prospects for this physical culture and Wellness technology, attracting to classes and arousing deserved interest not only among the older generation of Russians, but also among young people, including people with disabilities.
