Efforts to improve physical education process based on use of «physiological profile of university student»

Objective of the study was to experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of use of the "Physiological profile of a university student" to improve the process of physical education.
Methods and structure of the study. The experiment was carried out on the basis of the FSBEI HE Chuvash State Agricultural Academy and involved 33 first-year students (21 girls and 12 boys), attributed to the main health group. The students’ age ranged from 17 to 19 years. To assess the basic indicators of students' health and fitness, we used the developed "Physiological profile of a university student". It included indicators of their physical development, functional capabilities of the basic physiological systems and physical abilities.
Results of the study and conclusions. During the experiment, the teachers of the Department of Physical Education conducted methodological support of training of the students within the framework of the educational process, namely: they customized the physical loads were customized, discussed with the students how to maintain and strengthen health, maintain high performance rates, etc .; the students were consulted on independent trainings and compiling individual exercise complexes, on improving physical qualities, nutrition, hygiene, etc.
It was found that the use of "Physiological profile of a university student" in the educational process in the physical education and sport disciplines, as well as elective ones, contributed to the improvement of the quality of training of students.
