Objective of the study was to identify the relationship between health creation and the mechanisms of axiological adaptation of students in the modern educational university environment.
Methods and structure of the study. During the generalization of psychological, pedagogical, cultural, historical and methodical literature, a theoretical and methodological analysis of the scientific concept of "axiological adaptation of students" was carried out and the essential features of health creation activities were determined, due to which it becomes possible to form value-semantic attitudes to health in different educational hierarchies.
Study results and conclusions. Man's awareness of his personal characteristics and their optimization during health creation activities are developed during axiological adaptation, which is directly related to the personality itself. In the process of health creation, attention is given not only to the acquisition of theoretical knowledge about health in the unity of its components but also to the dynamics of active transformation of own "Self", readiness to apply the adopted norms, values, ways to actualize health as a resource in the new professionally-oriented situations, mastering of effective health improvement methods. The described mechanism illustrates the process of health creation through activation in the process of axiological adaptation of students of their self locus.
Among the main features of students' axiological adaptation may be mastering of the methods and techniques of organization and conduction of self-reflexive and reflexive analysis of own activities and activities of other people, which enables them to demonstrate their value-oriented sociocultural experience in handling other people's problems and developing behavioral strategies that will ensure the formation of constructive socio-psychological attitudes in all types of life activities.
The effectiveness of axiological adaptation of university students is associated with the transition to the health creation strategy through the activation of the self locus based on the subjective experience and the desire to change their axiological status, thus ensuring adequate interaction with the world in accordance with its values.
