The sport community gives a high priority to the efficient theoretical and practical provisions for the beginner-to-master sport progress in ice hockey being duly designed, updated, systematized and managed on an integrated basis. Objective of the study was to give a theoretical grounding for the new internationally popular notion of regularized ice hockey logistics within the relevant notional framework. The study analyzes the priorities of the regularized ice hockey logistics i.e. the most efficient and effective ways to secure the beginner-to-master sport progress in the ‘production to customer flow’ logics. Regularized ice hockey logistics means, in the authors’ interpretation, the strategic control of the relevant practical research, informational, regulatory and economic process flows to effectively promote the most promising players from sport schools to the leading club teams. The study data gives the grounds to conclude that a dominating role in the modern sport management is played by due coordination to secure the regularized ice hockey logistics viewed as a kind of roadmap to facilitate the individual progress on the uninterrupted and efficient basis throughout the long-term athletic training period.

Keywords: ice hockey, concept, systematization, sports management.
