Objective of the study was to develop and test benefits of an innovative academic racing skiers’ training system with application of modern skies with fluoroplastic sliding base for skate-skiing technique. This type of skies facilitates a wider use of the kick-double-pole one-stride technique as the fastest albeit more demanding to the strength and speed-strength abilities that need to be in higher priority in the training process. The study offers the fastest skate skiing version as the basic technique applicable in the training process for the racing skiers’ training system efficiency improvement in the non-sporting curricula at technical university.
