A coaching personnel training system and skill levels of the trainees are known to largely depend on the efficiency of the national sport institutions and factors of influence on the model specialist training for the national physical education and sports sector. The article explores the issues of the factor-specific contributions to the sport institution operations with an emphasis on the athlete-coach interaction domain. Objective of the study was to develop and substantiate an efficient sport institution operation model. Findings of the study give the grounds to state that the modern professional training at a sport institution within the modern educational system will be designed on a new more efficient specialist’s training basis partially determined by the factors other than the traditional ones generally accepted and given the top priority by the national sport education communities and practices.
