Subject to the study is the kickboxing history including its origins, progress, global popularity and adaptation processes that made it evolve to a social educational (with an emphasis on competitive education) system. Generally kickboxing may be viewed as an innovative mix of traditional boxing sport with oriental martial arts dominated by karate techniques. We gave a high priority in the study to the history of the key lines, progress vectors and technologies of the kickboxing sport, with an attempt to outline the real kickboxing history. Based on the sport historical progress analysis, we worked out a frame educational model governed by the kickboxing history reconstruction that views the sport history as the past, present and future trends-specific evolution of the social educational kickboxing system.

Keywords: kickboxing, martial arts, sport education system.
