The problem of organization and holding midterm assessment of students in the physical education system. The algorithm of the project method implementation in the evaluation of the interdisciplinary course "Management of sports training system" as part of the professional module "Organization and performance of training sessions and management of athletes' competitive activity in selected sport". The criteria for assessing the protection project, the dynamics of student performance results are presented in the paper.
