Family as social factor of child's personal physical culture formation

The article considers the priority of parents as a powerful resource of socialization of preschool children in the process of physical education. The authors note that it is important and necessary for parents to possess knowledge in the field of physical culture to form their children's competencies, which will make it possible to apply the parent resource in physical education of children in the family, along with government organizations. The authors outline the main directions of formation of parents' theoretical and methodological knowledge about the problems of family physical education that they need to learn and impart to their children.
