The present article analyzes the issues of development of children's fitness programs in Russia. The causes of development of special programs for children in fitness clubs, the most popular programs for children of different ages, the provisions to popularise fitness programs among children in the fitness industry are described in the paper. It is shown that children's health programs rely on lifespan development peculiarities of children and adolescents, modern fitness trends and  lack of compulsory competitive component.
