Table tennis classes and coordination relations of arm muscles in 9-15-year-old males with different sensorimotor asymmetry profiles

There was conducted a longitudinal study of coordination relations of arm muscles of boys of 9-10 and 12-13 years of age, playing tennis for less than 1 year, and the same children after 2 years of playing table tennis. In addition, the dynamic changes in the sensorimotor asymmetry profile in boys after a 2-year period of regular table tennis training sessions were studied. The sessions were established to improved muscle coordination relations of both arms in children with the right asymmetry profile at the age of 11-12 years, and in the boys with the left sighting eye - at the age of 14-15 years. The property of the dynamic change of the lateral sensorimotor asymmetry profile increases in the children playing table tennis at the age of 9-11, and weakens in the teen age.
