Program of Physical Rehabilitation of Children with Simple Vertebral Compressions

Vertebral compressions among children must be a dangerous orthopedic injury. According to the data of Russian traumatologists-orthopedists for the last decades the frequency of stable (simple) vertebral compressions among children is rising and amounts to 5,1 to 7,3% of all skeletal injuries.
Such a trend can be explained by the use of the modern diagnostics (magnetic resonance imaging) and insufficient) and underdevelopment of the bone-ligamentous apparatus, pectoral sling and bone mass deficiency among modern children, low prevention of injuries.
The purpose of the present study was to design and experimentally approve the program of physical rehabilitation of children with simple vertebral compressions.
The studies proved that the use of the test of static balance is model when conducting physical rehabilitation and is a valuable and informative method of monitoring of changes in the patient’s ability to efficient self-control of the body position and correct body posture. The designed phased program, including assessment of the body's static balance and training of strength endurance of body muscles, was proved efficient. Its application stipulated for effective influence on the body muscles and ability to restore the skill of rational posture.
