Modelling Process of Development of Physical Qualities of Junior Judokas in Respect to Game Like Method

Judo is one of sports capable of developing physical qualities, not only a self-defence technique but way of life, the way to obtain mental and physical perfection. Man can be ready for every situation when he has an absolutely harmoniously developed body. Such physical qualities, including agility, strength, endurance, dexterity and flexibility, should be regularly enhanced, especially at the initial phase of the training process.
Nowadays the methods and techniques contributing to formation of motor skills and abilities and development of physical qualities, so important for athletes at the phase of initial sports training, need to be improved.
The purpose of the study was to scientifically-methodological approval of the model of stimulating development of physical qualities of young judokas at the phase of initial sports training based on the game like method.
Physical training of judokas of the experimental group significantly improved in most of the tests during the educational experiment (p<0,05). Children learnt many interesting games, which, undoubtedly, contributed to their motivation to sports occupations; team games facilitated formation of the team spirit, finding the common opinion regarding tactics and strategy of games. Doubles promoted formation of personality and volitional qualities. The introduction of the innovative model of stimulating development of physical qualities of young judokas based on the game like method proved its efficiency, and the authors’ hypothesis was fully proved.
