Nowadays wrestling experts and trainers have no doubt about the fact that success in athlete's training is directly related to efficiency of the individual approach being realized in the wrestler's long-term training.
The literature analysis revealed that the effective and purposeful formation of the wrestler’s range of techniques requires the use of completely individual approach, being implemented using means and methods accessible to any children’s trainer (without expensive technical aids, complex and bulky methods). But early identification and substantiation of the recommended for a fighter winning technique (methods) should be based on the integrated approach in view of his individual morphological, physical and mental characteristics.
The purpose of the study was to design the technology of selection of technical actions for the personal store of a young wrestler.
The suggested methodology for selection of technical actions (techniques) for the individual range of methods of a young fighter has been tested successfully at a specialized children’s school of Olympic reserve and can be recommended for trainers to improve the training process.
