Key words: elite dancers, spiroarterio-cardiorhythmography, paychophysiological tests, result, quality of dancing.
The clarification of prognostic values of type-specific adaptive characteristics of relevant vegetative balance and psychophysiological characteristics, data of physical working capacity and the peculiarities of the quality of dance performance by elite athletes laid the basis of the present paper.
The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect from typological features of regulation of autonomic nervous system by heart rate, arterial pressure, respiration on psychophysiological, vegetative characteristics, physical working capacity and the quality of performance of dance by elite dancers.
Hence, sympathicotonic dancers in comparison with normotonic and vagotonic ones have maladaptive variants of regulation of arterial pressure and breathing; the shortest duration of breath holding and time of stability in the Romberg's pose; significantly lower indices in the test PWC170, along with slower rate of hand movement and less accurate motor responses by the indices of response to a moving object. The above-stated surely has a physiological explanation: elite dancers with the sympathicotonic variant of autonomic nervous regulation by heart rate belong to the risk group as the ones who have deteriorated the quality of performance of dance.
