The purpose of the present study was to develop and verify the effectiveness of the methodology of enhancement of the speed of movements of beginning freestyle wrestlers using exercises without special equipment.
Thus, the analysis of the findings showed that the improvement of speed of movements of beginning freestyle wrestlers using exercises without special equipment during the summer period of the year training cycle has a positive effect on their physical development.
The developed methodology of improvement of the speed of movement of beginning freestyle wrestlers confirms that the speed and strength abilities are largely dependent on the level of development of explosive force.
The work on improvement of the speed of movements of young wrestlers at the phase of direct training for competitions should be continued.
