Rational diet of junior athletes in endurance sports, especially during and after competitive loads, enhances their working capacity and sports performance.
It is common knowledge that all of the nutrients undergo interconversion as a result of the most exquisite processes continuously occurring in the body. Therefore, the essence of nutrition should be not high- or low-calorie food, but the balance of fats, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, fiber, the presence of necessary hormone and vitamins. To understand this, each person must master the culture of nutrition as a part of general health culture - the cornerstone of human life.
