Keywords: anthropometric indicators, cardiorespiratory system.

Aim of the study: assessment of the physiological status of first-year students in Russia and Uzbekistan.

Methods and organization of the study. To determine the physiological status (PS) of students, we used the "Student's Physiological Portrait" software [1]. Within the framework of the study, physical development (PD) and functional capabilities of the main physiological systems (FCMPS) were analyzed in 210 students of the Chuvash State Agrarian University (Russia) and 191 students of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Uzbekistan).

Results of the study and their discussion. As a result of the analysis of the obtained data, it was revealed that in Russian female students, anthropometric indicators demonstrate average values: height is 162.6±0.95 cm, body weight is 54.1±2.07 kg, and chest excursion (CE) is 4.9±0.36 cm; strength indicators (back strength – 54.0±2.04 kg, grip strength: right – 21.1±0.65 kg, left – 18.6±0.53 kg) were below average. In young men, height was above average normative indicators (174.4±1.03 cm), CE (11.6±2.50 cm), back strength (103.7±2.78 kg), and grip strength (right – 41.3±1.85 kg, left – 38.9±1.39 kg) were at the average level, while the remaining indicators were below standard values. Similar indicators were observed in NUUz students of both sexes.

Analysis of the functional capabilities of the cardiorespiratory system in students showed that in Russian female students, heart rate (HR) averaged 72.4±1.85 bpm, systolic blood pressure (SBP) was 114.2±2.37 mmHg, and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) was 75.6±1.37 mmHg, vital capacity (VC) of the lungs was at the level of 3.1±0.43 L, which corresponds to normal age indicators. The Stange test (35.2±1.22 s) was rated as "good", and the Genchi test (22.6±2.26 s) as "satisfactory". In young men, HR (83.7±3.52 bpm), SBP (128.6±3.70 mmHg), and DBP (81.2±1.78 mmHg) were assessed as above average age indicators. VC (4.6±0.57 L) corresponded to age norms. The Stange (44.1±2.46 s) and Genchi (32.9±1.31 s) tests were rated as "good".

In NUUz students, in particular, in female students, HR (74.2±0.60 bpm) and VC (2.8±0.32 L) were within normal age values; SBP (109.7±0.75 mmHg) and DBP (66.4±1.12 mmHg) were below normal. The Stange test (36.2±2.24 s) was rated as "good", and the Genchi test (23.7±1.76 s) as "satisfactory". In young men, HR (83.1±1.14 bpm), SBP (134.4±1.42 mmHg), and DBP (86.4±1.12 mmHg) were above average age indicators, and VC in the range of 4.8±0.18 L corresponded to age standards. The Stange and Genchi tests, demonstrating values of 45.3±1.46 s and 33.9±2.31 s, respectively, were rated as satisfactory.

Conclusions. As a result of a comprehensive analysis of the level of physical development and functional capabilities of the main physiological systems of first-year students from Russia and Uzbekistan, it was established that their physiological parameters are significantly lower than the normative values corresponding to sex and age standards. To achieve optimal indicators of physical fitness of students, it is necessary to modernize existing educational programs, focusing on improving the functional capabilities of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and muscular systems.
