Abstract

Objective of the study is to propose ways of involving participants of the special military operation (SMO) in adaptive physical culture at the regional level. Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work on conducting the analysis of the development of adaptive physical culture in the Sverdlovsk Oblast was carried out on the basis of the B.N. Yeltsin UrFU. Results and conclusions. It was revealed that the main source of the financing of adaptive sport in the Sverdlovsk Oblast for 2023-2030 was the regional budget. Proposals were put forward on the development of extra-budgetary sources and the use of an inter-programme approach. The calendar plans of the events of the Sverdlovsk Oblast were examined with regard to the conduct of specialised competitions for veterans of the special military operation; as a venue for the conduct of subsequent events, it is proposed to use the infrastructural possibilities of the campus of the Ural Federal University as a centre of adaptive student sport, including for veterans of the SMO.
