Abstract
Objective of the study is the substantiation of the principles of the analysis and assessment of the results of monitoring the delayed post-load values of the biochemical indicators of the blood in the system of perfecting the medico-biological control of highly qualified athletes specialising in triathlon. Methods and structure of the study. 7 male triathlon athletes (1 Honoured Master of Sports, 6 Masters of Sports) aged from 20 to 26 years took part in the examinations. The examinations were conducted over the course of 5 weeks in the conditions of a pre-competition training camp at an altitude of 1600 m. The total number of measurements was 32. Samples of capillary blood were analysed. The examinations were conducted in the morning, on an empty stomach, 36 hours after the last training session. The following were recorded: the activity of creatine phosphokinase, the content of urea, cortisol and total testosterone. The equipment applied was the BioSystems BTS 350 semi-automatic biochemical analyser. Results and conclusions. The ranges of the oscillations of the coefficients of variation of the activity of creatine phosphokinase, the content of urea, cortisol and testosterone in the delayed post-load period were established. For the assessment in professional triathletes of the true severity of the preceding loads, the conduct of medico-biological control not only 36 but also 12 hours after the last training session is obligatory. The individual delayed post-load values of the biochemical indicators must be assessed not only from the position of their absolute magnitudes, but also of the coefficients of variation. Taking into account that the frequency of the individual values of separate biochemical indicators going beyond the mean magnitudes obtained in the group analysis is different, while their oscillations occur non-simultaneously and in different combinations, a comprehensive analysis of the obtained data and the establishment in each specific case of the possible causes of the revealed shifts are necessary.
