Abstract
Objective of the study is to substantiate the feasibility of including specially selected simulation exercises in the training process of ski jumpers of various qualifications to eliminate typical errors in the technique of competitive action. Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work used the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, video analysis of ski jumping in conditions of training and competitive activities. Results and conclusions. Simulation exercises cannot be considered in isolation from the ski jumping phase that they simulate, or the technical error that their application is aimed at eliminating. Corrective work can be carried out at different points in an athlete's training. Its content depends on the training period, the severity of the error, and how much time remains until the next start. In the preparatory period, the amount of such work can be quite large, since it is at this time that it is possible to purposefully correct mistakes and consolidate the correct technique.
