Abstract

Objective of the study is to identify the socio-psychological and pedagogical factors influencing athletes’ attitude to digital devices and technologies, as well as to determine effective strategies for their integration into the system of professional education in the field of physical culture and sport. Methods and structure of the study. An analysis of domestic and foreign sources devoted to the problem of the study was carried out. Results and conclusions. It is shown that, despite the active use of digital innovations in sports practice, a gap remains between the speed of their introduction and the level of theoretical-methodological comprehension in pedagogical science. Special attention is paid to the phenomena of technophobia and technophilia, which are considered at different levels. The key factors of the formation of the attitude to technologies are analysed: age, sex, hardiness, the perception of the speed of social changes, as well as interpersonal and intergroup interactions. On the basis of the generalisation of empirical data, practical recommendations for the professional training of athletes are formulated.
