Abstract
Objective of the study is to identify the possibilities for improving the management of athletic preparation on the basis of taking into account the opinion of the heads of sports-sphere institutions. Methods and structure of the study. For conducting the survey, a special questionnaire was developed, including 47 questions. 84 heads took part in the survey. In the process of cluster analysis, the most important questions influencing the satisfaction of the heads of sports-sphere institutions with the system of managing athletic preparation were determined. Results and conclusions. The analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey, aimed at assessing the degree of satisfaction of the heads of Moscow’s sports-sphere institutions with the athletic preparation system, revealed their concern about the insufficient provision of members of the national teams with sports equipment. The heads are also concerned about the level of professional training of young specialists, as indicated by the questions that entered the current list, connected with the introduction of practice-oriented modules into the educational programmes of universities that train specialists in the field of sport. The heads also approve of attracting practising specialists (coaches, coach-instructors) to the implementation of practice-oriented modules in sports at educational institutions. In addition, the heads note the insufficient number of young specialists in Moscow’s sports-sphere institutions.
