Abstract

Objective of the study is to develop a conceptual model for evaluating the effectiveness of state regulation of mass and professional sports in a megalopolis. Methods and structure of the study. The analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature devoted to the development of conceptual models that are used to analyze the effectiveness of government regulation in the field of physical culture and sports is carried out. Results and conclusions. In this study, the conceptual model performs an integrative function, allowing us to systematize the processes of collecting, analyzing and interpreting information about the state of the sports sector of the metropolis, as well as create a basis for adjusting the applied instruments of state regulation. The practical implementation of the conceptual model is carried out through information and analytical support for the implementation of sports policy and management decision-making, which ensures continuous monitoring and increasing the validity of management impacts.
