Abstract
Objective of the study is to identify the determining parameters of serve variability in qualified volleyball players. Methods and structure of the study. During the examination, the following parameters were assessed: dynamometry data, accuracy of differentiation of muscular efforts and the magnitude of their deviation from the calculated value, agility coefficients in running and jumping, the ability to distinguish time intervals, as well as nervous system endurance and its ability to switch to movements performed at different speeds. Serve effectiveness was determined taking into account the method of execution (accuracy serve, power serve, “hybrid” serve). 10 games of leading teams were processed using the professional software Data Volley 4Pro. The study subjects were 12 male athletes with qualifications of Candidate for Master of Sport and Master of Sport, participants of the Russian Volleyball Championship. Results and conclusions. 1. It was established that for the accuracy serve, the leading parameters are differentiation of muscular effort (25% and 50% of maximum) and distinction of time intervals (10 and 30 seconds). 2. It was determined that for the power serve, the determining indicators are the agility coefficient in jumping, the level of nervous system endurance and its ability to switch to movements at different speeds. 3. It was revealed that for the hybrid serve, the determining parameters are jumping agility, maximum hand strength, accurate distinction of time intervals (10, 30 and 60 seconds), differentiation of muscular effort (75% of maximum), high values of endurance and the ability of the nervous system to switch between movements at different speeds.
