Abstract

Objective of the study is to investigate the impact of movement-based and game-based learning on the motivation and performance indicators of physical education among students of management disciplines. Methods and structure of the study. Physical education was based on the principles of movement-based and game-based learning and involved the integration of learning objectives into games, the use of methods to encourage independence, and the active involvement of learners. For temporal analysis, a system of categorising observed behavioural factors in the context of learning was used. Results and conclusions. Teaching based on the use of movement and sports games contributes to the creation of a personalised, student-centred educational environment that ensures sustained long-term engagement and academic achievement. For the majority of teaching time, students are engaged in meaningful, learning-oriented activities.
