Introduction. The effectiveness of a physical education and sports organization depends on the personnel management strategy. All employees of a physical education and sports organization (administrators, coaches, teaching and support staff) create a unique image of the organization, influencing the attitude of customers to the organization itself, as well as to physical education and sports in general [1, 2].
The purpose of the study is to study the socio-psychological characteristics of employees (administrators and trainers) TSOP "Tyumen-judo".
Methodology and organization of research In scientific work, an online survey was organized to study priorities, difficulties encountered (the thermometer scale) and satisfaction of administrators and trainers (the method of E.N.N. Stepanov). The survey was conducted at the Tyumen-Judo Olympic Training Center in 2024, which was attended by administrators (10 women and 6 men) and coaches (4 women and 11 men).
The results of the study and their discussion As the study showed, coaches demonstrate greater professional maturity under male domination, while administrators are younger under female domination. The socio-demographic characteristics of administrators and coaches indicate a generally favorable environment, as almost 100% have higher education.
Most often, administrators solve tasks such as monitoring, team building, providing educational work and occupational safety, and defining the goals and objectives of the team's activities. Moreover, female administrators are the most active in solving professional tasks. The difficulties in solving the tasks of professional activity among administrators are caused by attracting additional funding (70%) and ensuring the assessment of the quality of education (75%).  In addition, a quarter of the respondents find it difficult to create conditions for innovation and conflict resolution among coaches.
Among the wide range of pedagogical tasks, all coaches (100%), most often, improve students' technical and tactical skills, develop physical qualities and form a mindset for success.
Conclusions Administrators are younger and more gender balanced, while coaches are professionally mature and predominantly male. Administrators solve strategic management tasks, and coaches solve pedagogical tasks for training athletes. Women in both groups are more critical of material aspects, while men are more critical of the effectiveness of their activities and institutions. Women are more empathetic and focused on personal aspects, men are more systemic and critical. These differences indicate the need for a differentiated approach to personnel management that takes into account the professional roles and gender characteristics of both groups.
