The impact of informatisation on public involvement in sports and recreational tourism

Objective of the study is to identify historical features of the informatisation of sports and recreational tourism.
Methods and structure of the study. The instrumental field of work includes content analysis of scientific literature, publications of expert forums, and statistical data from the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia (FSGS, Rosstat). The study was conducted on the platform of the resource scientific, educational, project and research centre for innovative development of the tourism sector at St. Petersburg State Economic University.
Results and conclusions. The informatisation of sports and recreational tourism contributes to the achievement of supervalues – the capitalisation of human resources and the development of human essential forces and abilities. It reflects the social meanings and values associated with the enrichment of the cultural code of the nation and the improvement of health and safety. The standards and targets for the informatisation of management form a unified logic for harmonising worldview, motor and functional potential.
