The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of exercises with elements of instability for the development of stabilizing strength and body stability among qualified volleyball players of student teams.
Methodology and organization of research. The experiment was conducted on the basis of the RUS "GTSOLIFK" team with the participation of 24 qualified volleyball players (KMS and I category), of which 12 EG athletes performed exercises on an unstable support for eight weeks, and the control group trained according to the standard program. The content of the training exercises included variants of static and dynamic bridges, lateral and three-point supports, alternate arm and leg support, as well as exercises with external resistance of the trainer. During the exercise, the body position was used with different support widths, pelvic elevation, change of support points and rhythmic alternation of load. The duration of one set ranged from 5 to 8 seconds, the number of repetitions gradually increased from three to six. All exercises were performed after the warm-up and alternated with strength and jumping exercises.
The results of the study and their discussion. After eight weeks of using exercises on an unstable support, the amplitude of deviations of the body's center of pressure during static retention decreased from 5.4±0.9 to 3.8±0.7 mm (p<0.05), the time to maintain an equilibrium position on an unstable surface increased from 21.6±3.1 to 28.4±2.9 s (p<0.05), and the force of The isometric retention of the case increased from 182.3±14.2 to 206.5±15.8 N (p<0.05). Biomechanical analysis revealed an increase in the coordination of movements of body parts, a decrease in lateral vibrations and a more economical work of stabilizer muscles. Experts noted an improvement in the control of the body position in jumping actions and when performing an attacking strike, which confirms the transfer of the effect of stabilization training into gaming activities.
Conclusion. Thus, exercises on an unstable support are an effective means of special physical training of volleyball players, contribute to the development of stabilizing strength, increase the stability of the body and coordination stability when performing technical actions. The inclusion of exercises with elements of instability in the structure of a training session allows not only to improve the quality of strength training, but also to improve the overall efficiency of movements, which is of great importance for injury prevention and increasing the stability of attacking and blocking techniques in competitive conditions.
