Introduction. Modern realities of life (economic and geopolitical instability), information flow, heavy loads in the learning process negatively affect the psycho-emotional state of SMG students [1]. FC classes at a university can change the situation and improve well-being, activity, and mood, as there is a great potential for corrective measures [2].
The purpose of the study is to study the effectiveness of the developed training program for the correction of the psycho–emotional state of students of the special medical group (A).
The methodology and organization of the study. The scientific work was attended by students of the 1st-3rd year (68 students) of the NWIU RANHiGS, the indicators of the psycho-emotional state were evaluated using the SAN method and the Spielberg anxiety detection test.
The methods of correction of the psycho-emotional state of SMG students included the following methods: stretching, breathing practice, auto-training. During the experiment (duration 9 months), SMG students engaged in two hours of study and four hours of extracurricular activities per week according to the developed program.
The results of the study and their discussion. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that there were positive significant changes (p<0.05) in the psychoemotional state, shown in the table.
The method of correcting the psycho–emotional state of SMG students consisted of the following classes: stretching, as a system of stretching exercises (10-12 reps - 45 min), through active and passive actions makes it possible to alternate tension and relaxation of muscle tissues, which helps to quickly relieve tension in the muscles and restore strength. Next, a breathing workshop (20 minutes), aimed at creating a state of rest and relaxation. At the end of the lesson, we paid attention to auto-training (20 minutes), which helps to stabilize the emotional background, improve mood and activity.
Conclusion. Educational and extracurricular activities – three classes per week – for two hours according to the developed program, including stretching exercises, breathing exercises according to the Strelnikova method, auto-training with auto-suggestion formulas led to an improvement in the studied indicators. Well-being, activity, and mood significantly changed, and personal anxiety decreased to a moderate intensity.
