Correction of musculoskeletal disorders in students of the special medical health group ‘A’ using fitball gymnastics

Objective of the study is to experimentally prove the effectiveness of the developed physical rehabilitation programme in special medical health group ‘A’ with the aim of correcting disorders of the musculoskeletal system (MSS).
Methods and structure of the study. The following methods were used to achieve the set goal: analysis of literary sources on the subject under study; pedagogical observations of the course of educational and practical classes in physical education at the university; a questionnaire survey; pedagogical testing; a pedagogical experiment; and mathematical and statistical data processing.
Second-year full-time students from the special medical health group ‘A’ with MSS disorders (n=32) participated in the study.
Results and conclusions. The article discusses the results of the application of a physical rehabilitation programme in special medical health group ‘A’ for MSS disorders, aimed at the use of fitball gymnastics to correct physical deviations in the health status of students.
