Objective of the study is to identify the dependence of the results of speed test exercises performed by young hockey players on the frequency of use of these exercises in training microcycles.
Methods and structure of the study. Young hockey players of different age groups took part in the scientific work. The following were conducted: a survey of team coaches, pedagogical observations of the training process, and testing of hockey players. The results of the hockey players' performance of selected speed test exercises and the frequency of their joint use in training microcycles were evaluated. Correlation coefficients for the results of selected test exercises were calculated.
Results and conclusions. Significant differences were found in the frequency of joint use by hockey players in training microcycles of selected exercises used in testing, and significant differences in the indicators of correlation between the results of selected test exercises. It was established that the levels of interrelationships between the results of hockey players' performance of selected speed-related test exercises depend on the frequency of the combined use of these exercises in training microcycles.

Keywords: ice hockey players, test exercises, frequency of joint execution of test exercises in microcycles, correlation analysis.
