Introduction. Modern scientific research indicates an increase in operator labor in all areas of economic activity of the country's population, which leads to a decrease in the level of physical activity, the development of physical qualities, and the functional state of the cardiovascular system of the economically active population (EAN) aged 25-64 years [1-3].
The purpose of the study is to establish a change in the structure of physical fitness formation at the stages of age–related ontogenesis.
Methodology and organization of research. The study was conducted within the framework of the state assignment of the Federal State Budgetary Institution FNC VNIIFK. In the course of experimental activity, the indicators of physical fitness of EAN aged 25-64 years (n=2640) were determined.
The results of the study and their discussion. When analyzing the interrelationships between the indicators of physical qualities characteristic of EAN, a change in the structure of the formation of physical fitness has been established with increasing age. The number of significant, noticeable and high intra–group relationships between fitness indicators decreases from the maximum at the age of 25-29 (68 out of 392 possible relationships) up to a minimum age of 60-64 (4 out of 72 possible relationships). There were significantly significant relationships between the results in different tests in each age group. In the 25-29-year-old group, performance in swimming (r=,51-,77), throwing a sports projectile (r=,50- ,99), in the "flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor" test (r=,63-,82), and in running for 100 m (r=,57-,82), 3x10 m shuttle run (r=,57-,69), cross-country skiing (r=,55-,99), long jump with two legs (r=,50- ,67).In the 30-34-year-old group, the results in the kettlebell jerk (r=,54-69) and the 30 m run (r=,51) stand out as the most related.- ,75), long jump from a standing position (r=,51-80), in the test "lifting the torso from the supine position" (r=,51-89) and swimming (r=,58-70). In older groups, tests in cross–country skiing (r=,53-77), 2 km running (r=,50-77) and 60 m running (r=,51-75), and swimming were most significant for a comprehensive assessment of physical fitness. (r=,56-85), in flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor (r=,56-75), in the long jump (r=,56-74); in 40-64 years – in swimming (r=,67-74), flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor (r=,52-67), Nordic walking (r=,59-71).
Conclusion. Thus, the most comprehensive development of physical qualities is characteristic of EAN at the age of 25-29 years, the least – after 60 years. The most informative indicators of physical fitness are: for all age groups – swimming, to a lesser extent – flexion and extension of the arms at rest; for the age groups of 24-34 years – jumping into the dina from a place; in the age group of EAN over 60 years – also Nordic walking.
