Introduction. Armwrestling is currently a popular sport, with a total number of more than 200,000 people involved.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the results of the team competition of sports teams of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation at the Russian Arm Wrestling Championships in 1991-2025 and identify the best regional federations.
Methodology and organization of research. Analysis of data from scientific literature sources, competition protocols, expert assessment. The data from the protocols of 35 official Russian Armwrestling Championships in 1991-2025 were processed.
The results of the study and their discussion.  The table shows the top 10 teams based on the results of the official Russian Arm wrestling championships for 1991-2025.
In total, there were 25 subjects of the Russian Federation in the pool of those who received points. A total of fourteen regions have held Russian Championships. Only six regions have hosted the Russian Championships two or more times. The Krasnodar Territory was ahead of the Kostroma Region by an additional third criterion – the number of wins at the World Championships.
Conclusions. The study identified the best regional armwrestling sports federations in Russia over a 35-year period. The top three of them according to the results of the team competition at the Russian Championships included North Ossetia-Alania, Moscow and Tatarstan.
