Introduction. In modern practice, methods are needed to stimulate the regular participation of children with intellectual disabilities in physical culture and sports activities [1]. Floorball, due to its team character, emotionality, variety of technical actions and accessibility, has a high potential for the comprehensive development of this category of schoolchildren.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the features of the use of floorball in adaptive physical education of children with IN.
The results of the study and their discussion. Based on the results of preliminary research, the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and our own experience, a methodology has been developed, the features of which are: the combined use of funds, taking into account the orientation of pedagogical influences, depending on the tasks of adaptive physical education being solved; the emphasized use of floorball tools in various scheduled and extracurricular forms of classes; the use of specially developed means of combined action aimed at mastering the technique of motor actions and activating the cognitive sphere and game situations of an associative nature; the use of special methodological techniques aimed at stimulating and activating the cognitive and motor activities of schoolchildren; ensuring the continuity of AFV through an optimal combination of basic and additional forms of organizing classes; regular participation of students with intellectual disabilities in sports competitions and events.
The leading place in education is occupied by the means: sports and educational orientation (history, rules, basic techniques, special physical training of a floorball player); cognitive orientation (outdoor games with cognitive tasks with elements of floorball, exercises for the development of mental processes, exercises and games of an associative nature); combined orientation (physical exercises with cognitive tasks of various variants with and without subjects, with the fulfillment of teacher's commands, cognitive tasks combined with the consistent mastery of the basic technical elements of floorball).
Conclusion. The developed floorball-based AFV methodology ensures the effective development of schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities, promotes their physical, mental and social adaptation, which allows it to be recommended for widespread implementation in educational and social institutions, as well as in the training of AFK specialists. The prospects for further research are related to the expansion of age categories, scientific and regulatory support for inclusive forms of floorball and its accreditation in the adaptive sports system.
