Objective of the study is to identify the characteristics of the application of artificial intelligence systems to legal issues in the field of physical culture and sport.
Methods and structure of the study. The work was carried out comprehensively within the framework of integrative, informational-legal, and physical culture and sports approaches. To explore the stated topic, the possibilities of intelligent systems were considered in the context of the digitisation of regulatory and legal documents governing the functioning of various sports in competitions and in the process of special training for them, as well as the advantages and limitations of using artificial intelligence in this area.
Results and conclusions. Artificial intelligence working in the field of sports law can link together the system of sports and refereeing legal and regulatory norms that establish the basic principles and rules of physical culture, sports, and training activities, including an organic complex of relevant social relations: civil, labour, public administration, financial, entrepreneurial, criminal law, as well as relations in the field of resource, social and medical support, anti-doping, international and procedural relations for the settlement of sports disputes, and much more. This is a new digital level in identifying the subtleties of legal and regulatory norms (rules) governing various aspects of physical culture and sport, as well as a new innovative approach to obtaining legal advice and well-founded sports law decisions.
To increase the efficiency and accuracy of AI, it needs to be adapted and trained for specific, highly specialised tasks, for example, in the field of sports legal relations through voluntary, regulated norms of sports law, which are protected by the state or the international sports community.

Keywords: artificial intelligence in sport, intellectual property rights systems, risks of using neural networks, adaptation of information systems, sports legal relations, online legal culture.
