The use of balancing platforms in the educational process of physical training for students

Objective of the study is to improve the effectiveness of physical education electives by introducing the training functionality of universal BOSU balance platforms into the educational process.
Methods and structure of the study. Sports and pedagogical testing of the physical and technical conditions of 56 female students aged 18 to 20 was conducted, factors affecting the effectiveness of the educational process in physical education were identified, a questionnaire survey of teachers was carried out, followed by a pedagogical experiment using BOSU balance platforms.
Results and conclusions. The effectiveness of the training complexes developed using balancing platforms has been proven by the results of a pedagogical experiment. The results of all control tests improved significantly (p<0.05), with the greatest increase in indicators shown in the balance test. The number of students who performed the technical test with the highest score increased by 30.7%. Exercises on a balance platform can be considered a universal training tool aimed at comprehensively addressing the physical education needs of students majoring in management.
