Scientific and methodological aspects of teaching tactics for the application of combat techniques to cadets of educational organisations of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation

Objective of the study is to substantiate the scientific and methodological aspects of training cadets at educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the tactics of using physical force and combat techniques by police officers in conditions close to operational and service activities.
Methods and structure of the study. Bibliometric methods were used to analyse scientific and methodological literature; a retrospective analysis of experience and methods of developing combat techniques was conducted, and regulatory and legal acts and teaching aids were studied; Synthesis of the information obtained to improve existing methods of training police officers in the tactics of using physical force and combat techniques.
Results and conclusions. The authors consider the main scientific and methodological aspects of training police officers in the tactics of using physical force and combat techniques in conditions close to operational and service activities. The leading pedagogical condition for training is the inclusion in the training process not only of the technical basics of combat techniques, but also of tactical ones, which makes it possible to structure the process of mastering the training material in a practice-oriented and, accordingly, more effective manner.
